-Every Rod is precisely built on the spine of the blank to maximize lifting power, casting distance and accuracy, and to help keep fish pinned at the end of a long cast.

-Years of test casting different guide trains, sizes and spacings for each rod blank. Guide placement is calculated by using two line static deflection to ensure line never touches the blank when under load which saves unnecessary line wear and tear and makes the rod much more powerful. You will notice how much longer your fluorocarbon lasts, and your heartbreaks when using light line will decrease dramatically. Guide trains are built around the most popular reels and line weights/types for each technique.

-I've spent years dialing in my grip lengths, testing and choosing my favorite grips for each technique, making grips from scratch, and balancing blanks to the reels that are commonly used with each one.

-For the most part, every rod will have a Fuji ECSM Deluxe reel seat. It's the best 100% blank through design. It's the best for casting distance and accuracy and the most comfortable reel to palm. Most reel seats used by manufacturers are actually a carbon tube epoxied to the reel seat and then tape arbors are built to fit reel seat. I think that's a garbage way of do things and it kills sensitivity and adds a lot of unnecessary weight. What you see on my rods IS the blank. Watch Video for explanation.

-I use extremely thin thread for wrapping my rods which makes for much stronger guide wraps, reduces weight throughout the rod in front of the reel seat, makes the rod much more sensitive and crisp, and looks very clean. No paying higher prices for senseless globs of epoxy.
